Be nice to yourself
I hope you are all keeping well and enjoying the beautiful spring sunshine.
Working in this industry, I should know better, but every year I worry that my body is somehow not good enough to be exposed in swimwear on holiday.
Being a massage therapist means that you see that human beings come in all shapes and sizes and very few women have what the magazines deem a perfect body. One article that I read recently was recommending a course of 10 treatments to reduce cellulite costing £1600. £1600! For that money you could rent a lovely villa with a private pool, where no one other than your nearest and dearest can see your less than perfect thighs and still have money left over for Magnums (other ice-creams are available).
So people, be nice to yourselves: find a form of exercise that makes you happy; eat healthily without denying yourself the good stuff, don't drink too much alcohol and don't smoke. But most of all, be kind to yourself. Make the time for a massage if you can; it will relax you and make you feel good about yourself.
But apologies- I'm good, but I can't cure cellulite!
